Job description

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for our voice analytics and NLP-based SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, an understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.

Job responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Votal AI's web-based SaaS applications and AI models
Perform thorough manual testing across multiple browsers, devices, and voice interfaces
Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar
Collaborate with AI researchers and developers to validate machine learning model outputs and ensure accuracy
Develop and implement testing strategies for natural language processing components
Identify, report, and track software defects using our issue tracking system
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and potential AI/ML model improvements
Monitor and report on key quality metrics, including AI model performance
Assist in maintaining and improving our CI/CD pipeline, with a focus on AI model deployment and testing
Stay up-to-date with industry trends in QA, AI, and voice analytics technologies

Job requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in software QA, preferably in a SaaS or AI-driven environment
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices for both traditional software and AI applications
Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, particularly in NLP and voice analytics
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience testing AI or machine learning models
Familiarity with voice recognition technologies and testing methodologies
Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices, especially related to voice data
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
ISTQB certification or equivalent
